Paving of Principale North street

The Town of Waterville wishes to inform the population that important road repairs will be done from May 16 to mid-June on Principale North Street (between André Street and Nichol Road). Depending on the phase of the work, detours will be put in place to allow travel and limit inconvenience.
The work will be done in 2 phases:
From May 16 to 20: section between Courval Road and Nichol Road
During this work, Principale North Street will be completely closed to traffic between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Traffic on Principale North Street coming from or going to Nichol Road and Carrier Road will be detoured via Flanders Road and Nichol Road.
May 20 to mid-June:
During this period, Principal North Street (between Andrée Street and Nichol Road) will be open to alternating traffic, so residences will be accessible at all times.

This project, valued at $696,243, is made possible thanks to the $501,749 in assistance obtained in June 2021 by the City of Waterville through the Local Road Assistance Program (PAVL) of the Ministère des Transports du Québec.
