Due to the current heat wave and low rainfall, Waterville officials are seeing a large increase in water consumption in your area. As a result, municipal authorities are asking for the cooperation of citizens to limit the amount of drinking water used for watering and outdoor use.

Here are some of the activities that should be reduced:

• watering of the grass
• use of automated sprinklers
• use of water games
• pool filling
• vehicle wash 

The Town of Waterville is confident that this public awareness will avoid prohibiting certain activities.

We would also like for you to inform us when you will be proceeding for your pool filling. By doing that, we will be able to evaluate if more than one owner at a time is proceeding. If necessary, we would make sure that the network is able to provide with sufficient water for everyone.
